I recently stayed at Hotel Subur, and overall it was a really enjoyable experience — especially if you want to be right in the heart of everything. The hotel sits directly on the seafront promenade in Sitges, so waking up to sea views and having the beach just steps away was a huge highlight for me. It’s also perfectly located near the historic quarter, restaurants, and nightlife, which made getting around incredibly easy.
The rooms are simple but comfortable, with air conditioning, good Wi-Fi, and satellite TV. I especially appreciated the balcony — having morning coffee while looking out at the sea made the stay feel extra special. The hotel offers different room types (single, double, triple, and superior), so it works well whether you’re traveling solo or with company.
The staff were friendly and helpful, and the 24-hour front desk made everything convenient. I also liked that the hotel is pet-friendly (great for dog owners), and services like laundry, bike rental, and car hire are available if you need them. The beachfront sun deck and terrace were perfect spots to relax and people-watch.
One of the liveliest parts of the hotel is the Sports Bar — a fun place to grab food, watch football or Formula 1, and enjoy the atmosphere. The menu is casual but satisfying, with burgers, nachos, BBQ ribs, and excellent New York-style steaks. The breakfast buffet was good value and had plenty of choice to start the day.
For a more refined dining experience, I also tried Cau del Vinyet, located at the nearby Hotel Subur Maritim. The Mediterranean and Catalan dishes were excellent — especially the rice dishes and fresh seafood — and it’s worth visiting if you want something a bit more special.
Overall, Hotel Subur is a great choice if you’re looking for a relaxed beachfront stay with a lively atmosphere and an unbeatable location. It may not be luxury, but the views, convenience, and welcoming feel make it a place I’d happily return to.
