MAIN GAY BEACHES IN SITGES

Platja dels Balmins:
Carrer de Joan Salvat Papasseit, 28, 08870 Sitges
GAY NUDIST BEACH – Situated between the town center and the marina, this beach is popular with a mixed crowd of tourists and locals, is clothing-optional, and offers a more relaxed atmosphere.

Platja de la Bassa Rodona:

NUDIST GAY BEACH – Before the marina just 15-minute walk from the center. Located in the center of town in front of Hotel Calipolis, this is the main, most crowded gay beach, ideal for socializing.

Platja de l’Home Mort & Playa del Muerto:
Carrer Baluard, Massís del Garraf, 08870 Sitges
GAY NUDIST BEACH – A secluded, rocky, nudist-friendly cove considered one of the world’s oldest gay beaches, reachable via a hike through a scenic pine forest.
BEACHES IN SITGES:
The beaches here are simply gorgeous — so much so that people often call Sitges “the Spanish French Riviera,” and honestly, I completely agree.
One of the things I love most is the incredible variety. Sitges has around 17 beaches, all clean, welcoming, and very accessible. Whether you’re looking for family-friendly spots, LGBTQ+ spaces, or nude beaches, there’s truly something for everyone. A long and lively beachfront promenade runs from one end of town to the other, perfect for walking, jogging, or simply enjoying the sea views. If you enjoy staying active, you can easily walk the entire stretch while soaking in the atmosphere.
Sitges is also incredibly dog-friendly — more than anywhere else I’ve visited in Spain. The boardwalk and beaches are full of happy dogs and their owners, creating a warm and social environment. As a dog lover myself, this is a huge plus. People are respectful, and the areas are generally very well maintained and clean.
The beaches are also well equipped with great facilities, including toilets, outdoor showers, wooden walkways, sun loungers, and small beach bars where you can relax with a drink.
For me, The Beaches in Sitges are the perfect combination of beautiful scenery, relaxed Mediterranean lifestyle, and open, friendly atmosphere — a place I always look forward to visiting again.
